Loading...Become a local storyteller with dornoch-tour. We are looking for friendly guides to bring Dornoch's history to life on our evening walking tours.
What You'll Do: Lead small groups (up to 25 people) on atmospheric, lantern-lit walks through Dornoch's historic heart. The route takes about 90 minutes on foot, passing landmarks like dornoch-cathedral grounds, the old jail, and the site of Scotland's last witch execution.
Who We Look For:
- Natural storytellers with a warm, welcoming presence.
- Local history enthusiasts (no formal degree required).
- Reliable, calm individuals aged 18+ who are comfortable walking in all Highland weather.
- Must be able to comply with the PVG scheme.

- The Archives: Gain access to researched story files, historical source material, scripts, and seasonal tales.
- Mentorship: Learn step-by-step through shadowing, co-guiding, and hands-on training with an experienced guide.
